We forgive because we have been forgiven.
Ephesians 4:32

"Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other."
Matthew 6:14
"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Forgiveness is not approving what happened — it is releasing it to God so it no longer holds you captive.
Lord, help me forgive as You have forgiven me. Free my heart from bitterness. Amen.
